Privacy policy
Layer 8 Labs LLC (“Layer 8 Labs”, “we”) runs layer8labs.ai. This page explains what we collect when you visit the site or get in touch, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. The short version: we only collect what you choose to send us, we use it to reply, and we don’t sell it or use it for advertising.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you email us, call us, or use the contact form, we receive whatever you include — typically your name, company, email address, phone number, and your message, plus any details about the equipment or services you’re asking about.
Information sent automatically. Like any website, requests to layer8labs.ai carry technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the page requested. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes this data to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, and may set strictly necessary security cookies to do so. Our hosting may also keep routine request logs for security and troubleshooting.
What we don’t do
We don’t run analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies on this site, we don’t build profiles of visitors, and we don’t sell or rent personal information.
How we use it
We use the information you send to answer your inquiry, discuss and scope services you ask about, and keep an ordinary record of our business correspondence. Technical data is used only to operate and secure the site.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to run the site and our communications — our hosting and content-delivery provider (Cloudflare), which also relays contact-form messages to our inbox without storing them, and our email provider — who process it on our behalf. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others. If the business is ever transferred, records would pass to the new owner under the same commitments.
How long we keep it
We keep correspondence for as long as it is useful for the conversation and our business records, and delete it on request unless we are required to keep it.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. We’ll respond within a reasonable time and won’t treat you differently for asking.
Children
This site is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and its effective date.
